If you believe an assessor/trainer is missing from your summative DOPS 'assessors' dropdown please contact your training lead in the first instance.
The training lead will need to ensure all training levels have been set for yourself and any individuals who are trainers in your organisation.
If there is only one assessor available at your organisation, please contact your training lead to organise an assessment at a different site/organisation or to have an assessor who may be visiting (eg as faculty) assess your summative DOPS. This will need to be organised at your local level.
For any candidate travelling to a different organisation to complete summative DOPS cases: contact the training lead of that organisation prior to any planned assessment. Please ensure you are added to their 'organisation admin' page and your training levels set. You will only be able to select trainers from organisations you are not a based at if you are added to the 'organisation admin' page and your training levels set.
Alternatively, if a trainer is travelling to your organisation from another, they will need to ensure they follow the above process with your organisation's training lead.
The trainee and trainer must have a site in common for the trainer to appear in the trainee's dropdown, also. This is determined by:
Site(s) set in the trainer's profile match site(s) in the trainee's profile
or
The trainer has performed a training list at the same site as the trainee within the last 6 months
For ERCP and EUS, one assessor should not be based at your primary endoscopy unit. This is a requirement for the ERCP and EUS summative DOPS.
For all pathways - a trainee's primary trainer or a trainer who has submitted an appraisal on the trainee within 12 months cannot submit forms.
