Data will automatically be populated from the local Endoscopy Reporting System (ERS) of your service(s). Once your ERS has been upgraded to NEDi2 compliance (via the assistance of your supplier), you will not need to input your data twice: the data logged on your ERS should automatically be uploaded onto NED.
An updated list of ERS suppliers that are currently NED-compliant can be found on the NED website.
If you are missing procedures, there are steps to take to ensure everything is set up correctly:
- Ensure your identifier (GMC, NMC or equivalent) is the same on your local ERS and JETS account. You can check your identifier on JETS by visiting the 'My Profile' page.
- Ensure your site is actively uploading procedures to NED, and which version they are currently using.
- Check your procedures on the local system to ensure they have been correctly uploaded without error and assigned to you.
- Contact the NED team providing your details to look into this further.
You cannot manually log procedures directly into NED.
The NED dashboard updates once a day, so your data from today will not show until tomorrow.
