What is the difference between the "caecal intubation" and the "unassisted (physically)" KPIs?
The caecal intubation rate is the percentage of procedures in which the trainee successfully intubates the caecum, without the physical assistance of another endoscopist - i.e., the recorded extent for the trainee is caecum, terminal ileum, neo-terminal ileum, ileo-colon anastomosis, or pouch.
The unassisted (physically) is the percentage of procedures which are recorded as either independent or observed for any recorded extent.
