This phone call is an opportunity for the lead assessor and service leads to be introduced and discuss the upcoming assessment.
The call usually takes place once the lead assessor has completed their initial review of the evidence.
It is a chance to discuss any concerns or queries, and to gauge the service’s overall readiness for their assessment.
A member of the JAG team will email the service contacts to arrange a suitable time for the call. Ideally, the clinical, nurse, and management leads should be available for the call.
