The JAG only applies for CPD points for Train the Trainers (TTT) level courses - not for basic skills, up-skilling, or other level courses. The RCP CPD team only approve courses aimed at post-training physicians, so a course for trainees would not be approved.
If any CPD points were applied for in a non-TTT course, it would have been through the training centre rather than JAG. JAG only apply for CPD points on the behalf of training centres for TTT courses. Only those training centres that contact JAG about their planned TTT courses during our annual application query will be applied for. If an application is successful, CPD point information should appear on the relevant TTT course certificate.

If you took the course as a post-training physician, then you may consider claiming CPD credits by adding it to your CPD diary as a self-certified activity. The onus is on you to determine whether it is appropriate for CPD or not.
