It is a staff member's responsibility to nominate their supervisors and assessors. This cannot be done by the Unit Manager or the JAG team. If staff members do not manually select and add their supervisors/assessors on their ePortfolio, they will be unable to submit their competencies/evidence for sign-off.
How do I assign a supervisor and/or assessor?
To assign a supervisor and/or assessor, hover over the ‘My JAG’ tab at the top right-hand side of the homepage and select ‘My assessments’. Then select the ‘Supervisors/Assessors’ tab (highlighted in yellow in the image below).
From this page, you can select your supervisor(s)/assessor(s) from the drop-down menus (as shown in the image above). Click the green button 'Add supervisor/assessor' to complete. You can nominate multiple assessors and supervisors if required.
Once the supervisor/assessor has successfully been added, they will appear on the list of names above. You may now submit evidence/competencies to these named individuals.
I cannot find my supervisor/assessor on the drop-down menu
Firstly, please ensure that your account is assigned to the correct unit. You can do this by hovering over 'My JAG' and selecting the 'My Profile page' to review the site(s) that you are registered with.
If your site is correct, your supervisor/assessor may not have been assigned the correct role on their JETS Workforce account. Only users that have been assigned a ‘Supervisor’ or ‘Assessor’ role on their own JETS Workforce account will appear in these drop-down menus. If an individual is missing, please notify your Unit Manager to assign them the 'Supervisor' or 'Assessor role' on JETS Workforce.
