It is a staff member's responsibility to nominate their mentors and assessors. This cannot be done by the Unit Manager or the JAG team. If staff members don’t complete this step, their unit manager and other mentors/ assessors will not be able to view their work.
To assign a mentor and assessor, hover over the ‘My JAG’ tab at the top right-hand side of the homepage and select ‘My assessments’. Then select the ‘Mentors/Assessors’ tab from the drop-down menu:
From this page, you can select a mentor and assessor from the drop-down menus shown above. You can select multiple assessors and mentors if required.
Only users that have been assigned a ‘Mentor’ or ‘Assessor’ role on their own ePortfolio will appear in these drop-down menus. If an individual is missing, please notify the Unit Manager to assign them the Mentor or Assessor role on JETS Workforce.
The added mentor and assessor will then receive an automated email from JETS Workforce to let them know that they’ve been added.
