JETS Workforce is an endoscopy-specific competency framework and ePortfolio that supports nurses, healthcare assistants, operating department practitioners and other health professional to undertake training and record their experience, demonstrating their endoscopy competence.
JETS Workforce was piloted at the end of 2018 to replace the previous GIN (gastrointestinal nurses) system.
A benefit of JETS Workforce is that the whole competency framework is made available to all users and unit managers no longer have to assign competencies manually.
Accessing JETS Workforce
You can access JETS Workforce by clicking the link here. You will find a log-in button on the top right-hand side of the page.
If you have already registered, your username will be the email address you registered your account with and/or your professional registration code (e.g., your NMC Pin) - you can use either to log in. If you are not have a registering body, your username will be your email address.
If you’re unsure of your password, you will need to reset your password on the JETS Workforce website by selecting ‘Log in’ and then ‘Forgotten your password’.
For more information, please see the following page on your username and password.
Reactivating your account
If you’ve registered with GIN/JETS in the past and your account has been inactive for over 12 months, it will be deactivated. Contact us for it to be reactivated. If your email address has changed during this period, we can also update this for you.
Registering a new account
If you have never had a JETS or GIN account, you can register for JETS Workforce by clicking "register" on the panel on the left-hand side.
Before creating a new account, it’s important that you first check whether you’re already registered. The JETS Workforce system won’t allow existing users to register for a new account with the same email address and registration number they’ve previously registered with. However, if your email address has changed, this will go undetected. Duplicate accounts run the risk of losing data, so please contact the JAG team to check whether an account already exists.
Those registering on JETS Workforce for the first time will automatically be assigned to the 'Workforce staff member' role. Should you require further access, you will need to contact your organisation’s Unit Manager, who can add additional roles to your account.
For more information, please see the following page on how to register to JETS Workforce.
