The course administration tab shows the courses which are currently active at the training centre. Courses which are greyed out are no longer running or may have changed to a new course code. Those in light grey are able to be edited. Here you can edit any terms and conditions which may be different for a particular course rather than the whole training centre. You can also set the cost and capacity.
If your training centre is going to start a new course type, it must be added here first by going to the ‘Add new course’ button:
You can then select the course which you need to add – if it is not on this list then please contact the JAG office.
Once selected, it will open a page with all the course details:
For most of the courses, a lot of the variables will be set by JAG so will be greyed out – any which are set by the training centre will be editable such as the capacity and cost as above.
To add required documentation
If you refer to the beginning of this guide on ‘how to book a course’ you will see one of the pages is ‘required documentation’, if your training centre requires any documents such as GMC, Hep B status etc then you can add these by clicking the ‘Add required Document’ as above. Applicants will have to upload these documents before being able to submit their application.
To add course documentation
You have the option of adding documents such as course schedule or programme. These can be uploaded here using the ‘Upload Document’ button and will be accessible when someone views the course to book.
You can then add your training centres policies and cancellation terms at the bottom of the page, then hit ‘save’ – this will be confirmed by a green tick at the top of the page.
Once a course has been added in this page, it will appear in the course admin page and your schedule page where you can assign a date. If a course does not appear on the scheduler page, this is because it has not been added on the course administration page.
